Recently I went to Big Sur to attend a screening of our film "The Calm at The Edge of The Sea." Although the trip was short, it was quite eventful. The film screened at the Henry Miller Library, which has an amazing outdoor redwood amphitheater. I saw friends old and new, indulged in red wine and green buds, slept in a mobile home with a house built around it, ate a breakfast burrito on the edge of the world, surfed some tasty slimy slippery red algae waves, was gifted some honey made from an 85 year old man, gifted some mendo greenbud, in return, I was gifted a couple nugs of "antique" weed from years before. Big Sur is surely a magical vortex, the city vibe can be felt in a few nooks, but there are plenty of crannies to escape to and enjoy the plethora of natural marvels...
